The Right Choice |

UPVC is a modern synthetic material made by the chemical synthesis of chlorine (derived from common salt) and ethylene (derived from oil). The resulting vinylchloride is polymerized to produce polyvinylchloride, an inert powder. UPVC has been developed over many years to offer superb properties of strength and resistance to impact. The profiles from deceuninck® frames are manufactured and produced from this specially formulated polymer. This is fed into an extruder and forced through a die, which forms the shape of the profile. As it emerges from the extruder, the bar length of profile is carefully cooled, to ensure exact tolerances and surface quality. |

Unplasticised PolyVinylChloride (UPVC) |

· Requires almost no maintenance as the extruded profiles will not warp, crack, rust or discolourate. · Excellent thermal and acoustic characteristics as the profiles are compartmentalized to increase their insulation value and at the same time eliminate frame condensation. · No painting or repainting of white frames is required. An occasional wash with a sponge is all that is required to keep the frames looking good for years. · Compared with metal products, UPVC material does not create any electrolytic or chemical reactions |
